How are you?

It is such a simple question, but when did you last stop and answer it completely honestly?

In this October 2026 channeled energy update, Melchizedek invites us to pause, turn our attention inward and recognise the truth of how we are feeling.

The answer does not need to be joy, happiness or fulfilment. Perhaps we are tired. Perhaps we are frustrated, sad or simply in need of rest.

There is nothing wrong with that answer. By recognising the truth of the present moment, we give ourselves the opportunity to respond to it.

Throughout this message, Melchizedek explores the importance of self-love and self-care, particularly for those who dedicate so much of themselves to helping and supporting others.

He reminds us that alongside our role as creator, we also have a role as caretaker.

Our physical body is the vehicle through which we experience this incarnation. It deserves our love, attention and care. Not only so that we can experience greater peace, joy and fulfilment ourselves, but so that we are able to continue sharing our light with others.

Introduction

I just finished channelling a beautiful and important message from Melchizedek for the energy of the month ahead. He discusses self-love and in particular self-care, the importance of taking time for peace, for love, for joy, and for healing as we move through this period. And he asks a really important question: how am I? How are we feeling? He discusses the importance of being truthful with ourselves with this answer and taking action based upon it. Because when we are better able to look after ourselves, we’re better able to look after others.

Self-care is in fact an act of service. Before we dive into the message, I just want to take the opportunity to say that if this resonates with you, if self-care is something that you would like to do more of in your life, but perhaps you struggle to take the time to rest, to look after yourself, then Melchizedek’s actually guided me towards running a workshop this month dedicated to this, to overcoming blocks and barriers to resting, and of course to create a space itself for rest, for peace, and for healing.

I’ll pop all the details for that down in the description below. Let’s get into the message. Enjoy.

Channeled Message

Greetings, my beloved sons and daughters. What a joy it is to join you here today in celebration of the month of October. In celebration of the heart, of peace, of love, of joy, of fulfilment, of satisfaction, of clarity, illumination, and sovereign being. These are the tenets I call down in your name, my beloved, as you step into this month. These are the qualities that I wish for you to embody in your life in each and every moment. May you find blessed peace and clarity in your daily life.

May you find joy and laughter in each moment, and may you move forward in recognition of your sovereign power. Just relax in this space with me for a moment, my child. Let this be a moment for pause, a sacred space between you and I. Where we may share in wisdom and in love. Blessed be, my child. You are one who has witnessed so much, who has travelled a great distance, and has carried both the excitement and the challenge of times gone by.

Even now, in this moment, within your heart, there is a cacophony of such— a cacophony of qualities of both the positive and the not so positive, shall we say. The challenges of old, they merge together, forming the concoction that is your vibration. This is the image that you send out into your world and is reflected back to you in each moment. I wish for you to recognise this within you, to recognise this feeling, to be present in this moment. Just sit with me here in this space.

And ask yourself gently and compassionately, how am I? Do this with me now, my beloved. Answer this simple question, how am I? And trust your first answer, for this will be the most revealing. Trust that it does not need to be one of joy, of happiness, of fulfilment. It can instead be one of tiredness, of sadness, of frustration. There is nothing wrong with this answer, for it is your truth. For as dark as that response may feel, it is illuminated by that truth.

Truth shall always be of the highest vibration. When we conceal this from ourselves, we prevent ourselves from experiencing And we are unable to take action to return back to that place of clarity. If I should ask one thing of you, it would be to take a moment just like this in each and every day, to simply ask of yourself, how am I? For it is a powerfully revealing question. And until we do this, it can be incredibly difficult to bring change to our life.

How can you know what needs changing if you do not know the truth of the current moment? It is through self-recognition, self-examination if you will, that we are able to uncover that truth. And then move forward in the highest light. This is an important time, my beloved, a time of self-love. I have spoken recently of your role as a caretaker, a role that is so often overlooked, especially by those upon the spiritual path. Yes, I have spoken a lot to your role as creator of late, about going forth and making your world of it that you desire.

But this must be done in balance, for the role of caretaker is just as important. It may be that you look to others in your world to take care of yourself. But how can any other truly care for you if you are unable or unwilling to care for yourself? Please understand that by unable, I do not mean physically able. I mean, as in, unable to make the decision for yourself, to show yourself that self-love. This, of course, is something that can be very challenging to those, especially those who walk the spiritual path.

Selfless acts abound. Love is shared with all those around them, and as a result, love of the self falls to the back of the pile. But you cannot assist others if you yourself are exhausted. This is the most important lesson that I can bestow upon you. One must love thyself. And this ties somewhat poignantly with your role as creator. You see, this role is born from the existence that you are of God. God resides within you. You are divine perfection. You are of heaven.

Of this I have spoken of late. And so when one does not show love to the self, it is one does not show love to heaven, to the divine, to the God within. And when one does not show love in this way, it creates separation. From oneself and their own inner sense of divinity. The physical and the spiritual are one. This is the path of an earthbound soul. The physical body acts as the vehicle. It is what allows you to interact with the physical world.

It provides the senses that are required. In order to live this life of embodiment. Although it is not your identity— that, of course, is the inner God— the physical does still play an important role. And so one must balance these 2. One must live in recognition of the divine within But it must honour the vessel in which it walks the journey. This is why the children look after their motor vehicles. They have annual services, the checkups. They ensure the vehicle is running to the best of its ability.

So why do so many not provide the same care for the physical body? It is the vehicle in which you operate this incarnation, and it deserves the same love and respect, for when it breaks down, you are unable to move forward with your life. And this is not a selfish act to look after the self. It is in critical— it is critical to your ability to not only live your own life joyously but to be of service, to be of service to your brothers and sisters, to your beautiful planet, and to heaven above.

For you cannot fulfil this role if you are depleted. Hear my words here today, recognise this within yourself. And let us return to this question: how am I? How do you feel about the answer to this question? Do you accept that it just is what it is and that you must move forward regardless? Do you accept it as truth but feel unable to do anything about it? Does the idea of taking rest, of peace, of fun bring about feelings of guilt or shame?

Ask yourself these questions and be honest. With yourself. There is no reason to feel guilty for resting, even when there are other responsibilities around you. It is an act of service, and it is an act of self-love to take time for the self. Please understand this, my beloved. It is of the utmost importance. And remember this as you move forward through this period: take the time that you need for the self and trust in heaven to provide for you. You see, when you begin to look after yourself This is, of course, the vibration that you send out into the world.

You send the vibration of worthiness, of rest, of peace, of joy. From this point, heaven is able to intervene, to step in to support you in this endeavour, to help bring about more peace, more joy, more love in your life, and to create more facility for you to achieve this in your day-to-day activities. Know thyself, my beloved. Trust in thyself and honour thyself, and all shall be held in the highest light. This is my wisdom for you, your loving Father, Melchizedek.

Thank you.
