Welo Opal B

A beautiful Welo Opal filled with strong flashes of red, orange, yellow, green and purple, set within its natural host rock. The shifting colours move across its surface as the light changes, giving this piece a bright and magical presence.

Each opal arrives with a glass display jar for water immersion, helping to protect the stone from drying out while allowing its colours to be beautifully displayed. This also enhances the depth and vibrancy of the play of colour, bringing the piece to life within its setting.

These ethically and consciously sourced Opals have come from a woman owned Co-Operative community in Ethiopia.

This will be shipped wrapped in wet tissues placed in an air tight bag to prevent the opal drying out.

Welo opals can crack if they dry out too much. It is possible to slowly dry them out over a long period of time but there is still cracking risk attempting this. As this piece has been stored in water I have kept it that way.
