I felt guided to talk about something a little different this week. I want to discuss the power of language.
You will have heard me say over and over again that we create our reality through our thoughts, perception and expectation. But our voice also plays a massive role in this.
The nature of reality is that it is essentially a mirror. In every passing second of our lives, we are sharing our vibration with it, and it reflects that back to us through the circumstances we experience.
This plays a fundamental part in the teaching experience of life in physicality… if we are willing to listen.
This field, the Conscious Field we will call it, responds strongly to the sound of our voice.
When we make declarative statements like “I AM…”, there are a couple of important things to understand.
The field hears your command and responds by presenting conditions that affirm your statement.
For instance, if you say you are tired, both your reality, and even your physical body, can begin to respond in ways that reinforce that state.
The second thing is the power of the statement I AM.
I touched on this briefly in a previous email, but AM represents the Alpha and Omega principle, the beginning and the end, the divine masculine and the divine feminine. It represents Source, it represents God.
To declare I AM is to invoke the presence of God into whatever statement follows, even if we simply mean “I am” in a casual sense.
This is incredibly powerful when used consciously, but can be limiting if used in the opposite way.
I am sure we are all aware of this on some level, but we all still do it, myself included.
So what is the alternative?
I will come back to this in a second, but first I just want to say that this isn’t something to be anxious about.
As I say, we all do it.
The amazing thing about the field always listening is that just as easily as we can tune it towards something we don’t want, we can also retune it towards something we do.
It is not like we put a vibration out and that determines the rest of our lives.
We don’t look in the mirror and what we see remains there forever.
It is a reflection of the present moment, and in the same way, reality shifts moment by moment.
So if we put out something we don’t want, that is ok, because we can simply replace it with something that we do.
One of the easiest ways to do this is through positive affirmation.
For example, if you express something that focuses on lack, you can replace it by stating “I AM abundant”.
Repeating this a few times can help to strengthen the new pattern.
And depending on how you are feeling, because our vibration influences the field as well as our voice, it can also be helpful to briefly invoke the violet flame first, to reset your energy.
I also want to say that I am definitely not suggesting that you don’t express yourself.
The worst thing we can do is suppress our feelings. We need to be truthful with ourselves, and speaking things out loud can be a powerful way to release them.
However, when we declare something negative using an “I AM” statement, we are aligning our identity with it.
We are saying that we are that thing, which is not a true reflection of who we are.
It is simply what we are experiencing in that moment.
So coming back to my earlier point, what is the alternative?
It is simply this.
Instead of declaring “I AM…”, we can say:
“I feel…” or “I notice…”
In this way, we are not attaching our identity to it. We are acknowledging it without becoming it, and this is an important part of healing.
So why am I sharing this today?
We are transforming rapidly. We have done so much work over the last decade, and we are no longer the same people we once were.
False identity is dissolving, making way for soul embodiment and the expression of truth.
But language is often built on habit, and it is very easy to continue speaking in a way that no longer reflects who we are.
Because sound is such a powerful tool in shaping our experience, if we continue to reinforce old patterns, our reality will continue to reflect them.
So the intention of this email is simply to bring awareness to the way we use language. This is not about getting it perfect, it is simply about becoming a little more conscious over time.
And alongside that, to reassure you that this is not something to fear, because we have the ability to shift it at any time.
We are responsible for our reality, and we can shape it through conscious choice.
