The Threefold Flame of the Heart

I am really excited to dive into this week’s topic, as it is one very close to my heart, no pun intended, the Threefold Flame.

The Threefold Flame of the Heart has been one of my favourite energies to work with on the spiritual path, and it is also one of the most important, as it plays a key role in the process of ascension.

You have probably heard me mention it before, but today I want to explore it a little more deeply. It is a big subject, so we won’t cover everything, but let’s start with what it is and why it is so important.

So what is the Threefold Flame?

First, let’s recap a little.

Last week we discussed the Antahkarana Bridge, the thread of light that connects your physical body, throughout all dimensional space and time, through your Soul, your Monad, all the way back to Source.

It is how light flows from your highest aspect and manifests into physicality. It is also the connection point into the heart that anchors your spirit into the body.

A few weeks ago we also discussed the I AM Presence, and I said that it is:

The Monad expressing itself into individuality so that it becomes self aware.

The Monad is essentially God. Therefore, the I AM Presence is the Presence of God within us.

Great.

So, the Threefold Flame is how the I AM Presence anchors into our physical self.

When an individual is conceived, the first thing that happens is the Antahkarana Bridge descends from the Soul, and the Life Thread anchors, forming the Heart Centre. This happens before the physical heart has even begun developing.

At this point, the I AM Presence is established within a secret chamber at the very centre of the energetic heart.

Here, it expresses itself through three individual strands, each representing a different aspect of God.

These strands are experienced within us as the Threefold Flame of the Heart.

It is often perceived as a fire containing three distinct flames, or plumes.

Each plume represents an aspect of God.

The Golden Plume represents the Wisdom, or the Mind of God.

It carries illumination, Divine Intelligence, clarity, understanding, and truth.

A developed Golden Flame supports Divine inspiration, inner knowing, discernment, clear intuition, and the ability to see the bigger picture. It is the embodiment of the Christ Mind.

The Pink Plume represents the Love of God.

This is not emotional love as we might usually think of it, but Divine Love.

When this flame is embodied, we begin to see with clarity. We recognise love within ourselves and within others. We become soft and open, yet grounded and steady. We are able to create boundaries without building walls.

We move towards unity, where we can see the Divine in all things and love unconditionally. This includes learning to love ourselves just as deeply as we love others.

The Blue Plume represents the Power, or the Will of God.

This is not power as we often experience it here on Earth. Instead, it is alignment with Divine Will.

Embodying this aspect brings a calm willingness to act, and the courage to stand in truth even when it is uncomfortable. It is choosing not to abandon yourself to keep the peace. It is refusing to shrink.

Those who embody the Blue Plume develop a deep inner certainty. They begin to trust themselves. The mind becomes clearer, and overthinking softens. There is less need to force or persuade. Instead, truth is held so clearly that the environment begins to reorganise around it.

You can think of the Threefold Flame like a seed. It is something that can be nurtured and grown, like tending to a fire.

Through the actions we take, the growth we experience, and the lessons we move through, these flames strengthen and expand.

We do this by living in alignment with each aspect.

For example, developing wisdom and intuition through meditation, learning, and teaching strengthens the Golden Plume.

The Pink Flame grows through compassion, creativity, and expressing love in the world.

The Blue Plume strengthens when we take action aligned with truth, responsibility, courage, and leadership.

When the Threefold Flame first anchors, it is said to be around one sixteenth of an inch in height, just over a millimetre.

The path of working with the Threefold Flame is to grow and ultimately harmonise all three plumes.

It is natural that we develop each one at different rates. Often one, or two, will be stronger than the others, which can create imbalance.

For example:

• A strong Blue Plume with weak Gold may lead to forcefulness without clarity
• Strong Gold with low Pink may become detached or cold
• Strong Pink without Blue may become soft without boundaries

A key part of the ascension process is to bring these three into harmony.

When this happens, they unify into a single, balanced flame, and we begin to embody the I AM Presence more fully here on Earth.

From this place, we are able to live with greater clarity, peace, love, courage, and strength.

This is why I believe working with the Threefold Flame is one of the most powerful paths of spiritual development. It brings everything together.

By understanding this aspect of ourselves, and learning how to nurture it, we can move beyond the limitations that have held us back and step into a more aligned and sovereign way of being.
