If you have watched my latest video where I shared my personal story (here if you missed it https://youtu.be/ogwslNUDRIA), you may well know that I have been on a recent journey of self discovery. A journey to remember who I am underneath the layers of identity that I have created in order to try and maintain a state of safety in my life.
Spoiler alert – it doesn’t work 😂
But this is a very natural thing. From a very young age, we all have experiences that cause physical or emotional pain, and we develop new patterns to help us avoid ever experiencing this situations again.
Over time, and repeated emotional and mental reinforcement, these patterns form an identity and we become something new.
No longer the pure innocence we carried as a child, but someone who has altered their personality in the name of safety.
This year I have been talking a lot about Truth and Authenticity. It is the energy of our time, and we are being called to reconnect with who we are beyond the layers of false identity.
But this isn’t an easy task. It involves a lot of self reflection, and revelation. It is about recognising our truly feelings and understanding the patterns that lie beneath them.
This is not an easy process, it certainly hasn’t been for me these last months. But it is such an important one.
I decided to write about this in my email today, because it has become clear from the comments on my video that so many are moving through the same experiences at this time.
First of all, I just want to say, whatever you might be feeling right now. This is a really really good thing.
This is the path to achieving what Melchizedek and the other masters have been talking about in my Channeled Messages this year. They have been repeatedly sharing about how the qualities of heaven are available to us. About how we can move into a period of clarity, peace, love, joy, abundance.
This might feel very distant right now. But I honestly believe we are much closer than we think. And this journey, this return to authenticity is the path towards it.
When we reconnect with who we are beyond the layers of false identity, we begin to live from our truth. This is much higher vibrational state to be.
It is a place where we have far greater access to the our divine identity that flows through us, the Soul and the I AM Presence that we have been speaking about throughout this email series so far.
As we move into alignment with this aspect, the qualities of heaven naturally begin to move through us, because we are living from that place.
And we then re-align our world around us in that image.
Sounds great right? But how we do actually do this?
It all starts with self awareness. It is about being aware of what we are feeling, and exploring the reasons behind it. And then taking action based on what we desire. Not because it is expected, or because it is what you think you should do.
It is about allowing the heart to lead.
I want to propose an exercise to you.
Once a week, try and find 30 minutes time for yourself (even 10 if that is all you can spare) to just be. This is your time, without interruption, without responsibilities, without any external noise.
Don’t make any plans for this time, just simply that you will take it.
Then, when the time comes, take yourself off to a quiet space, and just sit. No music, no distractions, nothing.
This might feel very uncomfortable at first. Your first instinct might be to grab your phone and scroll social media, or watch a video. But resist this urge if you can. This might sound crazy but in this modern fast paced world, many of us have forgotten how to just be. To be bored 😂
In this space, just sit and be aware of your thoughts, your feelings. Accept whatever comes without judgement. And ask yourself questions. Why do I feel this way? Why am I thinking about this? And trust in your intuition. Explore yourself.
We can learn so much about ourselves by just stopping, by being present.
If you can do this for 5 or 10 minutes, you will learn so much.
Then use the rest of your alone time to do whatever you want.
If you want to sit and cry, that is ok.
If you want to play with a toy, do it!
If you want to cuddle a stuffed animal, awesome!
Maybe you want to draw, or sing, or dance.
The only thing that matters is that it is what you want to do without any external pressure.
The final step, is at the end of your time, just see how you feel. How was it to just be for this time?
The more you do this, the more you will learn about yourself. The more you will start making choices, as Melchizedek says, “for the betterment of the one”.
I really hope this helps you today.
Sending so much love
David (Team Essery) 🙏💛
